The challenge
The Blend opened in January 2025 as a new business, with no track record and no reviews yet. Neighbors needed a way to find it, see the menu and order. The shop takes its online orders through Toast, so the site had to work on a phone and get hungry customers to the order button, a phone call or directions in one tap.
What we built
- A multi-page site with its own page for smoothies, bowls, juices, and snacks and merch
- An Order Online button that takes customers to the shop's online ordering
- One-tap calling, a location map with directions, and posted hours
- A contact form for questions and catering requests
- A design built for phones first, since most visitors arrive on one
- Uptime monitoring every minute and a plain-English report each month
Why it matters
A hungry customer who can't find the order button goes somewhere else. Putting the menu, ordering, calling and directions one tap away turns more visits into sales.

October figures run through October 22, so the full month will be higher. Order Online taps were counted from October 7. The two periods were measured with different analytics tools, so the percentages show a clear trend rather than an exact match.
“Marcus at Veteran Webworks did an amazing job with our site. He was very pleasant to work with, asked questions, was responsive to updates needed, and made sure we got what we wanted. On top of that he was very informative for how a website works on the back end and how to best optimize our site. I would highly recommend Marcus and Veteran Webworks to a friend, local business, or anyone needing a professional website.”
